Wadi Shab Tour

This tour is among our best selling trips in Oman. We depart Muscat in the morning and drive along the coast towards the city of Sur. After 90 minutes we reach the Wadi Shab entrance. From there we take a short boat ride across the small Wadi lake. The we walk into spectacular the Wadi Canyon along steep cliffs, rocks, pools and fruit plantations. After approx. 45 minutes we will reach the famous pools. Here we change into swim wear, leave our belongings behind, and start swimming and walking into a smaller canyon. After swimming/walking through the water, we come to the last pool. Here the water is deep and we have to swim to cross it. At then end there is a small gap in the wall in which we will swim through into a fantastic cave with a waterfall inside. This is the highlight of the trip. After that we swim back and relax in the sun and eat some snacks. Then we walk back to the car. On the way back to Muscat, if there is time, we can pass by at the Bamah Sinkhole Lake Park for a photo stop.

If you don’t want to swim, you can stay near the first pools where the water is shallow. Bring sun protection, hat, good walking shoes, swim wear (if you like) and snacks. You need to be in average good shape.
